Job summary

Evergreen Post Acute Rehab in Smyrna, Delaware, is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide for the 6am–2pm shift. You will assist on tray lines, help with food preparation, and ensure proper labeling and storage of foods.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary conditions, performing dishwashing and housekeeping tasks, and following established dietary procedures. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and adherence to safety and sanitation standards within a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Assists on tray line and food preparation as necessary.
• Stores food and supplies with proper labels for current and future use.
• Cleans and maintains assigned equipment and work areas, ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks such as dishwashing, garbage disposal and sweeping or mopping.
• Follows procedures pertaining to handling of all foods.
• Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules.
