Job summary

Green Leaf Care Center in Dunn, NC is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to assist in food preparation and service in our dining areas, under the supervision of the Food Service Director or Cook.

You will help maintain clean, sanitary kitchen practices and follow the community's dietary policies. Education: HS diploma or currently enrolled; GED guidance available. Wage $12.00–$13.00 per hour; shifts 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-7:00pm. On-site with comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and the community's dietary policies and procedures.
