Job summary

Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Jenks, OK is seeking an entry-level Cook/Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and friendly service. You will help with meal prep, set up dining areas, and work under the supervision of our dietary team to ensure safe, timely service.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card.
• Training is provided.
• Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve residents.
• Assist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific procedures.
• Maintain strict sanitation and quality standards.
• Store food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilage.
• Accurately record meals served and monitor food temperatures.
• Clean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedules.
• Wash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practice.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
