Job summary

Arcadia Care in Herscher, IL, seeks a Dietary/Kitchen Aide to support all food functions per menu plans, recipes, and special diets. You will help prepare, serve meals, and ensure sanitary standards across the kitchen and dining areas.

Job Summary:

The Dietary/Kitchen Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders. Also ensure food, kitchen, facility etc., is prepared or kept in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
• Assist in preparation, cooking and clean-up of meals and prep areas.
