Job summary

MasonHealth and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary team on a full-time basis. You will assist with daily meal prep, tray setup, delivery, and kitchen sanitation to support our residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Understand safe dietary procedures for geriatric residents.
• Willingness to act in residents' best interests.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Some dietary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items to maintain residents' quality of life.
• Set up meal trays and deliver meals to residents.
• Assist with stocking on delivery days.
• Wash, store pots, pans, dishes and utensils; sweep and mop floors.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and protect privacy.
• Keep dietary work areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
