Job summary

Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, is seeking Dietary Aides to join our dining department on a part-time basis. Shifts include early morning and late afternoon slots, with a $600 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

As a Dietary Aide, you will participate in all aspects of meal service, from food preparation to plating and cleanup, in Monticello Skilled Care and Personal Care areas, adhering to regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Must organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
• Must follow verbal and written directions.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must provide excellent customer service.
• Must work well in a team and be flexible.
• Must have genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• Must adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work every other weekend (unless pool position).

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of meal service in dining areas and room trays.
• Ensure food is attractive, palatable, and served in correct portions.
• Follow regulations and facility policies for safe food handling and service.
