Job summary

Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving for residents, ensuring appetizing presentation and warm, compassionate service.

You will maintain a clean, organized kitchen, support inventory and ordering, and collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special diets while delivering outstanding resident care and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals to residents, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement special dietary menus and meals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
