Job summary

Wilber Care Center is seeking an evening dietary aide to support our residents with nutritious meals and friendly service. You will help prepare and deliver meals, assist with tray delivery, and maintain clean dining areas in a collaborative team setting.

This role requires a positive attitude, ability to work evenings, and willingness to rotate weekends and holidays. We value compassion for residents and teamwork with the dietary and nursing staff to ensure quality meals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must pass applicable background checks.
• Must meet health requirements including a medical and physical examination.
• Ability to work as a team and collaborate with others.
• Weekend and holiday rotations required.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals and complete prep work under supervision.
• Deliver dishes and trays as needed.
• Discard leftovers and bus dining areas.
• Clean serving and eating areas and wash dishes.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with documentation of resident meal intake.
• Work with dietary team and nursing department on each shift.
• Follow safety policies to protect everyone.

Apart from resident care, one of the top indicators for resident satisfaction is the food and meals served, and as a result, our dietary team/dietary assistant/ dietary aides ensure that we are top notch! Our mission extends to our employees, as we know that HAPPY employees provide excellent services. We are currently looking for a dietary professional to join our team! Hours are from 4:30 to 8 pm and 5 to 8:30 pm.

Responsibilities Include

• Setting up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals and complete prep work under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays as needed.
• Discard leftovers and bus dining areas.
• Clean serving and eating areas, wash dishes, cooking vessels, and other items as assigned.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with written documentation of resident's meal intake.
• Work with the dietary team and nursing department on each shift.
• Strictly adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and safety of others.
• Follow the policies and procedures of the facility in accordance with regulations.

Requirements
