Qualifications

• Experience in a culinary environment, large volume food preparation and service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and clean dining areas, equipment and utensils.
• Safely handle food, dishes and equipment.
• Prepare resident trays per instructions and orders.
• Stock food storage areas and refrigerators as assigned.
• Deliver meals, nourishments and supplies as assigned.
• Foster a respectful, team-oriented environment and respond to concerns of residents/families.
• Participate in quality improvement activities (QAPI) as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect PHI (HIPAA) at all times.
• Demonstrate organization and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit interpersonal and communication skills.

• Full Time Dietary Aide $1,000.00 Sign on & Retention Bonus
• Part Time Dietary Aide$500.00 Sign on & Retention Bonus
• Pay Range: $16.50 -18.34

The Dietary Aide is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the preparation and serving of food, cleaning food service areas, equipment and utensils.

• Safe and sanitary handling of food, dishes and equipment
• Prepare resident trays according to instructions/order
• Assist in stocking food storage areas and refrigerators as assigned
• Deliver food, nourishments and supplies as assigned
• Contributes to an environment that is respectful, team-oriented and responsive to the concerns of co-workers, residents and families
• Participates in quality improvement activities (QAPI) as requested
• Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive Protected Health Information (HIPAA) at all times
• Demonstrates organizational and critical thinking skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, problem solve and make decisions as necessary
• Ability to create a resident-centered environment
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
