Job summary

Kempsville Health & Rehab Center in Virginia Beach is seeking a Food Service Aide to assist in meal prep and service, maintaining clean, sanitary kitchens and dining areas under the guidance of the Food Service Director.

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available. Wage ranges from $16.00 to $17.50 per hour, with on-site work and benefits including tuition assistance, PTO, and health coverage. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and pay options include on-demand or weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
