Job summary

Swan Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team on a Per Diem basis. As a member of our food service team, you will help ensure the highest quality and care for our residents, delivering meals with accuracy and a friendly, can-do attitude.

You will portion and serve food, deliver trays, clean dining rooms and service areas, assist with food preparation, and work closely with healthcare professionals in our state-of-the-art Patchogue, NY

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to perform some physical work.
• Prior experience in food service or cooking is a plus.
• Positive attitude and energy are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Portion and serve food items to residents.
• Deliver trays and carts to resident floors.
• Clean and maintain dining rooms, tray line, dish room, and pot sink areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Assist with food preparation and meal setup as needed.
