Sullivan Park Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations under the Cook and Dietary supervisor. The role includes setting up trays, washing dishes, and assisting with meal service, while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
You would learn routines quickly, obtain a food handler’s certificate, and work with other departments to ensure smooth dining services.
Reports to: Dining Services Manager Full Wage Range: $16.28-$20.00
The dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. He/she is reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: Standing and /or walking very frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently. Talking and /or hearing very frequently. Tasting and /or smelling very frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $16.28-$20.00 per hour depending on experience and education. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
