Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations in a post-acute care setting. You will learn and execute food service routines, assist with meal trays, and help maintain an orderly, sanitary kitchen environment.
The role involves dishwashing, food preparation assistance, and collaboration with the dietary team. A high school diploma and food handler certification are required; strong reading and math skills are helpful.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
