Jewel Health & Rehab in the United States is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with food prep, meal service, and maintaining cleanliness in the dietary department.

You will support residents' dietary needs, work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, and collaborate with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to ensure safe, dignified dining experiences. Flexible scheduling is offered with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shift.
• Must comply with all facility health requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist residents during dining when needed
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Label and store food properly following food safety standards
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to support resident needs
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents, families, and staff
