Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Position Overview

As a dedicated Dietary Aide, you'll play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious meals while maintaining impeccable sanitation standards. Join us in creating a dining experience that nourishes the body and warms the heart.

Responsibilities
  • Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
  • Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Deliver dishes and trays promptly to designated rooms and times.
  • Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
  • Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
  • Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a dietary aide, with culinary and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to prepare meals according to instructions, using cookware and appliances effectively.
  • Friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical stamina for a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
