Job summary

Strafford Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with meals in a warm, respectful environment.

You will prepare, serve, and assist with dining room setup while ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met. Prior LTC experience is preferred, and a professional appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior dietary experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Aide, you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to residents in the nursing center. You will also maintain an attractive and sanitary dining room, meal service, and delivery.

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
