Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility in Starkville, MS. You will assist with food prep, ensure proper portions, and maintain cleanliness while complying with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include serving meals, sanitation of equipment, and strong resident/customer service. A high school diploma is preferred, with certification requirements per state law, and residency in the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
