A leading nursing facility is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and kitchen maintenance. This role involves setting up meal trays, cleaning dishes, and ensuring a sanitary kitchen environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong communication skills.
Dietary Aide (Food Services)
The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift and the needs of the facility. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and communicate effectively with managers and staff.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Good vision and focus are necessary.
