Job summary

AdviniaCare Summit Commons in Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for part-time hours to join our team providing nutritious meals to residents. You will help prepare and deliver meals that meet personalized dietary plans and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

As a valued team member, you will support kitchen staff, operate cooking equipment safely, and deliver excellent service to residents. High school diploma and prior dietary aide experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience appreciated.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware, and cooking appliances.
• Ability to operate cooking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for medical patients and older adults, ensuring compliance with nutritional plans and dietary requirements.
• Assist in creating and delivering personalized meal plans that meet the needs of our residents.
• Deliver food to patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist kitchen staff in meal preparation and service, as needed.
• Operate cooking equipment, including cookware, bakeware, and appliances.
