Covenant Living Communities and Services seeks a Dietary Aide (Nutrition Aide) to help prepare and deliver healthy meals, coordinating with Dietitians on allergies or restrictions. You’ll assist in meal prep, serve food, and maintain cleanliness with strict safety standards.
Strong communication with residents and staff is essential to meet nutritional needs throughout shifts. Education includes a high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit; Servsafe training is a plus.
The Dietary Aide, or Nutrition Aide, is responsible for preparing and delivering healthy meals and ensuring that patients have the proper foods based on their needs. They work closely with Dietitians, providing them details on allergies or restrictions to create plans accordingly.
Prepare food according to instructions while adhering strictly to safety and health standards. Uses strong attention to detail for all meal preparation to ensure patients receive appropriate food and nutritional needs. Applies effective communication skills since they work directly with patients, Dietitians, and other medical professionals.
Dietary Aids work with patients to ensure they get the nutrition they need throughout the day. Guided by a lead Dietitian or Chef who oversees the distribution of food and drinks to patients throughout the shift.

Compensation Pay Range:
$14.44 - $18.80 per hour
