Job summary

The Springs Post-Acute, a 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our dietary team in providing nutritious meals and compassionate care.

You will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain kitchen and dining areas, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and help with menu planning and inventory while addressing residents' dietary needs. A warm, team-oriented environment and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or dietary role is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Help set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
• Assist with menu planning and inventory management.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, addressing any dietary concerns or requests.
• Support the dietary team in special events and functions as needed.

About the Position

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting the dietary team by assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This position ensures that residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.
