Stone Bridge Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Sandy Hook, CT is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents’ dietary needs through meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Your work will directly impact residents’ quality of life and you will join a compassionate, team-focused kitchen and dietary staff.

You will follow menus, assist with portioning and food safety, and collaborate with the dietary team to meet special dietary requirements.

Formación

• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Compassionate and empathetic by nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing and serving meals following menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas; assist in stocking and organizing food and supplies.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents during meal times.

As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' dietary needs by assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Your dedication will directly impact the quality of life for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and serving meals following specified menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of meals
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas Assist in stocking and organizing food and supplies
