Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow oral and written communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of dining service areas.
• Inspect dietary service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of duties.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level.
• Able to adopt new methods and principles into dietary practices.
• Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and authorities.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas
• Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
