Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare meals and serve residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, portion meals, and maintain clean, sanitary dining areas.

This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork, with hands-on training provided. A high school diploma is preferred, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where mandated. Residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and guests.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
