Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient dining needs and assist with food service duties. The role involves helping with food preparation, serving, and maintaining sanitary conditions, following department policies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior experience in health care or food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food service functions to meet patients’ dining needs in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.
• Provide assistance in food preparation and serving, while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions.
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior health-care experience preferred
• Prior food services experience preferred
