Job summary

Core Healthcare in McMurray, PA is seeking a dedicated food service aide to support daily meal preparation and service. You will follow directions to assist in cooking prep, portioning, and hot/cold holding as needed.

You will help with inventory and storage, cleaning duties, dishwashing, serving beverages, and maintaining a safe, orderly dining room. Adherence to health and safety regulations is essential for every shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation as directed.
• Assist in inventory and storing food and supplies as necessary.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties within the food service department.
• Assist in serving meals, coffee, beverages and special items on a timely basis.
• Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed; clean up spills immediately.
• Prepare the dining room for next meal and ensure safe and clean environment; clean up food and debris after meals.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures; assure that utensils, etc., are ready for the next meal.
• Assure that safety and health regulations are followed at all times.
