Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is hiring for a patient meal service role at Willamette Valley Medical Center in the Willamette Valley region. The role involves preparing meals that match dietary orders, serving patients, and handling menu deliveries with a focus on quality and safety.

Candidates must be 18+, maintain good personal hygiene, and communicate effectively in English while working well within a team.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
  • Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
  • Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
  • Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
  • Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 17.50 USD

Hourly Work Shift: Job Description Responsibilities

Wage: $17.50/hour

Weekend positions available

Day/Evening shift available

Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
