Job summary

Mason Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our caring team. You will assist in preparing and serving meals for residents, ensuring nutritional needs are met with empathy and attention to safety standards.

This position offers both full-time and part-time hours, with opportunities to grow in a supportive healthcare environment. Previous food service in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with tray service, including delivering and collecting trays.
• Perform food quality control checks.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to provide exceptional customer service to residents and families.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
