A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food services. The role involves setting up meal trays, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring food service routines are followed. Ideal candidates should be able to effectively communicate and possess a high school diploma along with a food handler's certificate.
Dietary Aide (Food Services)
The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and communicate effectively with managers and staff.
Ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires standing, walking frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Good vision is required for various visual tasks.
