Job summary

Accessible Space, Inc. is seeking on-call Dietary Aides to join our team at a beautiful facility. Competitive starting wage, variety of shifts, convenient location, and an amazing team dedicated to making a difference.

Responsibilities include meal prep, serving meals, dining room setup, cleaning, sanitation, and stock management. Must have a current health card for Nevada and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and lift up to 20 pounds.

• Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks.
• Clean foods, cut, chop, measure, prep, and prepare the dining area for meal service.
• Assist with plating and serving meals in a palatable and appetizing manner.
• Serve the appropriate meals and portions to clients in the dining room.
• Return all dishes and service items after meal service is completed.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining room areas.
• Receive grocery and supply deliveries and ensure proper stocking of supplies.

Dietary Aide position overview and responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• A current health card issued by the State of Nevada.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
• Perform job duties in a professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills - work well with a diverse range of individuals.
• Customer-service approach to work.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift. Ability to travel through the work area. Ability to bend, squat, reach, grasp, hold, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds.
