Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide food service support in our nursing center, ensuring residents' dining needs are met in compliance with all laws and company standards. You will safely handle food and equipment, assist with meal trays, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment for patients and residents.

You will work with a compassionate team, adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines, and participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities offered

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to support patient care.

• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts.

The Dietary Aide provides food service assistance in the nursing center to ensure our patients/residents' dining needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.

• Safely handle food and equipment according to all policies and procedures.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties
• Deliver and retrieve food carts
• Set up meal trays and work meal tray line position
• Prepare snacks and beverages in between meal

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well‑being of our patients/residents and visitors to meet their medical and physical needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
