Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking Dietary Staff to join our compassionate team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. You will participate in food table service, meal delivery, and ensure a clean, sanitary workspace while delivering excellent resident care.

This full-time role emphasizes respectful service, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with a multi-site dietary team. Training provided in food safety and modified diets to support our residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all duties related to food table service including serving hot and cold food portions to residents
• Complete the set up and clearing of tables, as well as transporting food carts
• Bring trays to rooms while delivering exceptional customer service
