Job summary

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Knoxville, TN is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. You will assist kitchen staff in meal preparation and serve nutritious meals to residents, following individual diet orders and care plans to promote wellness.

We offer flexible full-time roles with AM or Evening shifts, supportive colleagues, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, healthcare or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Passion to work with a diverse aging population.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, serving, and delivering meals and snacks to residents according to diet orders.
• Set up meal trays, dining rooms, and food carts.
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and timely.
• Provide assistance to residents during meal times as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Stock supplies, label food items, rotate inventory for freshness and compliance.

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center – Knoxville, TN

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center is hiring for a passionate Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team in Knoxville, Tennessee. Asa Dietary Aide, you will assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, serving the nutritional meal to our residents, while following the residents' food restrictions according to their care plan.

Full Time AM or Evenings | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Dietary Aide Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, healthcare or hospitality is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion to work with diverse aging population
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Dietary Aide Responsibilities
