Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Celebration in Kissimmee, FL, is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker for 32 hours per week. You will assist the Cook, prepare meals, transport items, and help with dish and sanitation tasks in a nursing center environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and clean up meals for residents and staff.
• Assist Cook as directed by the Food Service Director.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to work stations and dining rooms.
• Label nourishments and deliver to resident areas.
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads and non-entrée foods; pour beverages.
• Follow production sheets and pre-preparation guides.
• Maintain handwashing, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Support meal service and administrative tasks as needed.

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean-up for meals served to residents and staff in the nursing center and other special events, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and Solaris HealthCare's established policies and procedures.
