Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays to skilled nursing residents in accordance with posted diet menus.

Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our culinary team as a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays to skilled nursing residents in accordance with the posted therapeutic diet menus. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tables in the Health Center Dining Room and breaks them down after meals.
• Charts food and fluid intake in the Health Center Dining Room.
• Communicate with residents concerning nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing home food service work preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Must have ability to read, write, and speak English, understand measurements.
