Job summary

Journey in Jasper, GA is seeking dedicated Care Team members to support residents with meals, sanitation, and daily living activities. The role focuses on compassion, teamwork, and high-quality service in a community-focused home setting.

You will work under local leadership and collaborate with facility staff to ensure safe food preparation, respectful resident interactions, and adherence to state dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Must meet state dietary and nursing home requirements.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Operate and sanitize kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Inventory & Communication: Manage dietary tray cards and communicate with residents and facility staff.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Must be qualified in accordance with state specific dietary and nursing home requirements (such as certifications, etc.)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery while following sanitation and safety standards.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, clean and sanitize food prep areas, and manage waste disposal.
• Inventory & Communication: Help store supplies, manage dietary tray cards, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
