Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our caregiving team. You will support dining services, assist residents with meals, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

We value reliability, good communication, and a can-do attitude. The role emphasizes compassionate service, teamwork with the dietary manager and other staff, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Able to operate cookware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities
