Job summary

Granburycarecenter in Texas is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support nutrition and resident care. You will assemble trays, deliver meal carts, and help maintain cleanliness in dining areas.

Follow menus and recipes, portion and serve meals, rotate stock using FIFO, and sanitize equipment. Teamwork and reliability are essential in this role with opportunities for growth within the dining services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service: assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness: dispose of refuse according to department policies and procedures.
• Manage supplies: deliver and rotate food and floor supplies (first in, first out).
• Prepare foods: follow menu and standardized recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently.
• Serve meals: portion and serve according to recipes and spreadsheet instructions.
• Sanitize equipment: wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
