Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will support resident nutrition while adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Residency within the service area required
