Job summary

Journey at The Rosewood on Tybee Island in Georgia is seeking a kitchen support role to assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food delivery while upholding sanitation and safety standards. This position supports the Care Team and residents within a community-focused environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent; food service experience is preferred and must meet state dietary/nursing home requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Must be qualified in accordance with state-specific dietary and nursing home requirements (certifications, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery while following sanitation and safety standards.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, clean and sanitize food prep areas, and manage waste disposal.
• Inventory & Communication: Help store supplies, manage dietary tray cards, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
