Job summary

Exton Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide for a full-time role in Exton, PA. The position involves assisting with meal prep, plating, and service to residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and meals are served safely and respectfully.

You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow nutrition guidelines, and collaborate with the dietary team to provide a positive dining experience for residents. A high school diploma and prior food service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents served.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.
  • Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  • Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.
  • Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.
