Job summary

The Grove of Elmhurst is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our dedicated skilled nursing team in Elmhurst, IL. We offer opportunities to grow professionally within a supportive community.

As a Dietary Aide you will help residents with meals according to their dietary needs, record temperatures, and keep kitchen and equipment clean and sanitized. A 10th grade education is required, and prior SNF foodservice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals according to dietary needs and ensure correct items are served.
• Record temperatures and ensure safety of food and equipment.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Grove Elmhurst by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
