Job summary

WyndRidge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to ensure residents receive nutritious meals with a focus on safety and cleanliness. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain dining areas, and support post-meal cleanup while following dietary guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is required, and food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals per supervisor instructions and use kitchen equipment correctly.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and tables with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on schedule.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and clearing of utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and cleaning stations.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Support upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.

• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
