Job summary

Responsibilities include following therapeutic diet cards, ensuring proper serving temperatures, delivering meals, and maintaining appealing presentation. Candidates must maintain sanitation standards and collaborate with the dining team to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas.
• Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
