Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and ensuring meals meet dietary needs while delivering friendly, respectful service.

Join a care-focused team, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and engage with residents and staff to support a positive dining experience. Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
