Highland View Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brockway, PA is seeking a Dietary Aide/ Cook to support daily meal preparation and service for our residents. You will work as part of a friendly team to ensure meals are prepared with care and served on time in the dining area or to residents in their rooms.

As you maintain a clean dining environment, you will assist with light cleaning, tray assembly, and basic record-keeping.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE / COOK

As a Dietary Aide / Cook, you'll assist in the daily food preparation and cleaning as directed. Residents will be served meals, coffee, beverages, and special food items in a timely manner during meal times either in the dining area or to their room. At the conclusion of each meal, you will prepared the dining room for the next meal and ensure a safe and clean environment for our residents.

As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately. With patience and a calm demeanor, you treat those you care for just the way you would want your own family members treated. You go home each day tired but feeling good about the positive impact you have made in the lives of so many in your community.
