Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare in Bluefield, WV seeks a FT Dietary Aide for evening shift to feed residents with nutritious meals and friendly service. You will set up dining areas, assist in meal prep, and help with serving and cleanup, while upholding strict sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have experience as a dietary aide, knowledge of food safety guidelines, and strong communication. High school diploma or equivalent required; food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role.
• Solid knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines in a kitchen.
• Experience preparing meals and using standard kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms and times as scheduled.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting dishes.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes, cookware, and utensils.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
