Job summary

Stellar Health Group in VT is seeking a friendly dietary aide to join our veteran, energetic team. You will help with meal prep, dining room setup, and serving residents, while maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas.

Schedules include mornings and evenings with weekend availability required. We offer competitive wages, benefits and a supportive work environment to help you thrive in a caring setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform tasks with sitting, standing and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible availability and ability to work weekends.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and set up dining rooms for residents.
• Set up food trays with condiments, napkins, juices and milk.
• Serve meals to residents and pour beverages.
• Clear trays, reset dining rooms after meals.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage areas; dispose of trash.

Dietary aides:

Schedule:

Mornings - 6:30a-3:00p

Evenings - 12:00p-10:00p

PT - 4:00p-10:00p

Responsibilities:

• Preparatory work for meals including setup of dining rooms
• Setup of food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, etc.
• Serve meals to residents, pouring beverages etc.
• Clears trays and dishes; resets dining rooms
• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage areaDisposes of trash

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements, like sitting, standing, and walking
• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures
• Ability to lift, up to 35 lbs.
• Computer skills a plus
• Flexible availability
• Must be able to work weekends
