Job summary

Manchester Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for the evening shift to support resident meals and dining services. The role involves helping with food prep, meal delivery, and maintaining sanitation in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, team-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior dietary or food service experience is preferred, and training will be provided to ensure compliance with dietary cards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery.
• Set up and clean dining areas, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and assist with tray setup.
• Wash dishes, discard waste, and take out trash.
• Follow dietary cards, portioning guidelines, and special diet requirements.
• Support cooks and dietary managers with kitchen tasks.
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Clean and help maintain kitchen equipment.
• Attend required training, meetings, and in-services.

Key Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery
