Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient dining in a long-term care setting. You will assist with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining sanitary conditions to ensure quality care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and may have prior health-care or food service experience. Preference for two years in a Long-Term Care Facility. Wage range is $17.50–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

As an important member of our team, the Dietary Aide provides assistance in all food service functions to ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be providing assistance in food preparation and serving, while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred


• Prior health-care experience preferred


• Prior food services experience preferred

• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
